I gotsta job!
Well people, at long last I will be gainfully employed, starting in October. Cue choir singing the Hallelujah Chorus, cue bells, cue dove release, cue parents' and boyfriend's sigh of relief.
I accepted the position of Conference Director at Academic Impressions, Inc. (www.academicimpressions.com) on Thursday. I will be developing these academic conference programs and recruiting key note speakers for the conferences, which are focused on mostly administrative groups in higher education. I'll spend half my time researching and putting together programs and about half finding speakers and working with them to make sure they're on board with the material I've put together for them.
Anyway, I'm stoked!
