Not Theee Dress
So, I ordered my dress this weekend. I ordered the jacket as well, since everyone seemed to like it. I still don't think I'll wear it for the ceremony, but I'll wear it for some pictures and to the reception or something. Laura, Shannon, and Anne-Marie came dress shopping with me last weekend, which was so much fun, and Laura took a bunch of pictures. So, I thought I'd start off posting the dresses that did not make the cut...
So, these were the least favorites. Next post, I'll post the ones that were favorites, but not as much favorite as the one I ordered. And, sorry, I can't post the pic of the one with me wearing my dress, because I can't risk Brian seeing, it's inappropriate for the blog since my butt is hanging out of it, and I want it to be a surprise for everyone at the wedding. Although, I know you've all seen the dress....

Dang, your butt hangs out of the dress you bought?? Weird! Maybe the jacket will draw the eye upwards... Thanks for posting the rejects!
Wise choice young bride.
I think we can all be thankful that had your signature scent to try on all of these. I can't imagine how hard the decision could have been without it.
Wow, that first dress harkens back to "Gone with the Wind", but looks great on you. It is interesting how wedding dresses, for some reason, go way toward weirdo styles. Like, "unattached sleeves....what a swell idea!" Good choice on the "chosen one", and too bad about the butt. Is there a big see-through hole on the back I didn't see?!
Does a dress that covers your butt cost extra? Dad says you can wear his hockey pants underneath.
That picture of the first one doesn't really do it justice since you can't see the size of the whole enormous train. (It was HUGE)
Laura's right! I've added the picture she took of the back of the huge dress with the train...
Thanks to Dad for offering his hockey pants to wear with my dress. Who the heck needs a veil when you can incorporate huge, smelly hockey equipment - sold!
Wow-weee! That dress is huge! I wish I could have been there for the dress hunt, I would have had a blast and I would have tried to get you to try on some really sweet 80's puffy sleeve ones as well. You never know if your gonna like it until you try it! :)
